Windows 10: Rumoured operating system

Hi,


I've been hearing reports circulating on the internet that Microsoft is apparently creating a "modern" OS and some calling it Windows Lite OS. Could someone give me a straight answer and hopefully the correct answer to this. Is this going to be a new version of Windows 10 which means that we can upgrade as normal and see the new improvements or will we yet again have to replace Windows 10 and/or buy a new version and so on? I thought Windows 10 was suppose to be the last operating system and that Microsoft will just continue to update Windows 10 with new features and security updates etc.


Could someone hopefully calm me down with this and correct me if I'm wrong. I love Windows 10 and the upgrade process and so on but don't want to do a clean install.

In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
Are you able to follow them?
In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.

Which is why I can't justify upgrading to the N95 from my N80. I'll wait another year when my contract will expire and hopefully by then, I'll see the rumoured N99 come to light for a recontract. That will be a significantly worthy upgrade from the N80
as opposed to what I believe is the minor step up to the N95.

Of course, that all depends on the size of the battery for it. Otherwise, I'll have a custom made plastic battery cover which will house two batteries allowing parallel operation to double the battery capacity.

To better assist you, do let us the complete message that you receive.

Sometimes, this could be due to two operating system installed in your computer. Just to make sure this is not the case, I suggest you to try the steps below:

1. Press Windows key + R.

2. Type msconfig and press enter.

3. Click the "boot" tab and check if there are any other operating system listed.

4. In addition, change the timeout time to 3 seconds(default)
