Windows 10: rundll32 winscomrssv.dll error at startup

Discus and support rundll32 winscomrssv.dll error at startup in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I get this error/virus after every other update and no fix will remove it.     rundll32 winscomrssv.dll error at startup


    I get this error/virus after every other update and no fix will remove it. Installed the latest update today (1809 I believe)

    So deinstalled that update and now the problem is resolved. But when I update again the problem will be back.


    Here's one of the fixes I tried

    Rundll32.dll?

    Make sure to use an adminstrative command prompt.

    Try this: ICACLS "c:\windows\system32\rundll32.dll" /T /grant Everyone:F or ICACLS c:\windows\system32\rundll32.dll /T /grant Everyone:F
    Can't remember if it is with, or without, quotes.

    But, why do all this... try FileAssassin by Malwarebytes, if you are trying to delete the files, but be careful, if you delete the Rundll32.dll files your OS may take a cr*p on you.

    ICACLS "c:\windows\system32\rundll32.dll" /T /G Everyone:F

    Throws:

    Invalid parameter "/G"

    and

    Invalid parameter "Everyone:F"
