Windows 10: rundll32

Discus and support rundll32 in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I have a program that has a "d3d.dll" file in it and when I run the program it causes "rundll32.exe" to run.When I exit, and check the task manager...     rundll32


    I have a program that has a "d3d.dll" file in it and when I run the program it causes "rundll32.exe" to run.When I exit, and check the task manager "rundll32.exe" is still running as a process. This causes problems when I run the program again.So haw can I stop the "rundll32.exe" from running when I exit the game, without having to use the task manager.

    Rundll32.dll?

    Make sure to use an adminstrative command prompt.

    Try this: ICACLS "c:\windows\system32\rundll32.dll" /T /grant Everyone:F or ICACLS c:\windows\system32\rundll32.dll /T /grant Everyone:F
    Can't remember if it is with, or without, quotes.

    But, why do all this... try FileAssassin by Malwarebytes, if you are trying to delete the files, but be careful, if you delete the Rundll32.dll files your OS may take a cr*p on you.

    Yes, i tried those troubleshooting steps and I didn't found anything relating to the file (rundll32.exe)
