Windows 10: Running Bedrock edition on NVidia Quadro 2000m or Intel HD Graphics 3000

My Windows 10 PC has two graphics adapters, an nVidia Quadro 2000m and an Intel HD Graphics 3000. None of these work very well for me and I'd like to understand why.


nVidia Quadro 2000m:


When I choose to run Minecraft Bedrock edition with this GPU, the program doesn't open at all. No error message, nothing at all. Can I do something to make it work?






Intel HD Graphics 3000:

With this GPU, Minecraft Bedrock edition does start and it is playable. However, I am getting the warning that support for this GPU is ending soon. Since it is a Windows 10 machine, it must be because of its level of DirectX support. However, dxdiag says:




As you can see, it support DirectX 12, and feature level 11.0. Why is Minecraft complaining about it?

Intel HD 3000 Graphic card for Windows 10

I realize the inconvenience you are experiencing with Windows 10. I will certainly help you.

Intel 3000 doesn't have driver for Windows 10. So I suggest you to download the Windows 8.1 driver from the Intel Website and then try to install the driver in compatibility mode.

Download the driver from the above link and install it in compatibility mode.
Now, to install in Compatibility Mode, follow these steps:

a. Locate the executable file (.exe file) for the driver installation program.

b. Right-click the file, and then click Properties.

c. In the Package Name Properties dialog box, click the Compatibility tab.

d. Click to select the Run this program in compatibility mode for check box, click Windows 8 with which it is compatible with in the Run this program in compatibility mode for list, and then click OK.

e. Double-click the executable file to start the installation program.

Problems with Intel HD 3000 graphic

Windows 10 build 10240
has a problem with Intel
HD 3000 graphics. Work only in WGA mode.

 

Windows 10 compatibility error with Intel(R) HD Graphics

Intel's website listed my 2nd Generation Intel® Core™ Processors with Intel® HD Graphics 3000/2000 as not compatible with Windows 10. But Windows Update had the HD Graphics 3000 update included today.
