Windows 10: RUNTIME BROKEN MY SYSTEM, RUNTIME CRIPLER, RUNTIME BROKER COOKS MOTHERBOARD WHO'S BRIGHT...

I have put up with windows bug fixes and impromptu updates which are sometimes outside control. Like 20 before I ma meant to give a presentation to 60 top companies in south Asia who have all flown to Manila to see me and I from London to see them MS takes over win8 for a massive update not scheduled. Its cool I have a backup laptop on 7 oh wait nope MS have hijacked that one too but all updates are scheduled for Sunday and this is a Wednesday plus they are supposed to ask me first. That was 2015 fast forward to the last 6 months and win10 doing what it pleases, I have 5 computers 4 laptops 2 on win 10, a win 7and an XP machine. Guess which one is most reliable? guess which one is next most reliable. sometime ago November my liaison officer comes over from the US meet the team get read into what we are doing so she can return to silicon valley ready for questions. I have 2 HP laptops one with a 17inscreen which I find too big when I fly so I swap HDD from the 15 to 17 and vice verse aside from screen size everything is the same now Windows does this massive update which pauses from time to time to tell me it will be amazing, wonderful. OK thank you Hal9000 well its not none of my drivers work microscopes endoscopres cameras scanners spectraldesnotometer laser infraferometer scanners or printers. Joy oh joy 20 hours of my life I will never get back later and I have reloaded everything. Ah but some of it is now not compatible and it wont be until the next bug fix which does it again all drivers kaput. every 4 to 6 weeks tedius. Now the latest MS gem is runtime broker or the ruintime broken your system much more accurate name collectively can we call it that? it hijacks the system runs it to overclock so technically 130% but it only shows to 100% what nothing functions you cannot remove it nowhere to do that . **** it down if you can a few hours of trouble free running. Now I write software algorithms more exactly I have products going to patent I have a patent I am negotiating licensing of a my processor cooling tech and I need this like a bat to the head it is MS OS no doubt but acts like a virus, it has jacked my laptop run it to thermal **** down more than 3 times usually It kicks me off line takes over it is still on line, runs it ragged and then turns on flight mode which the only way to get it back is restart or cold start. I cannot do the windows clean slate, I have a dozen apps that are fine but also like Jaxx digital asset wiping me out. That can't happen but I can't continue like this I am only able to get on line 1 in 3 days due to this MS hijack software. The drivers thing has cost me 13 working days this year since Jan. This ruintme breaker is costing me days and money $10,000 in missed contracts

MS made it they can unmake it, it has to stop



OH here is a thing runtime loads at start up Xbox config xbox profles

I do not now nor have I ever owned an xbox, it certainly is not my laptop why do I need to connect to Xbox live. I never signed up to agreed to or approved of that.

While this adds credence to the fact that this is truly an issue, Even the Microsoft response is incomplete. To quote their page:

"•Runtime Broker is a Windows process in Task Manager that helps manage permissions on your PC for apps from Windows Store. It should only use a few megabytes of memory, but in some cases, a faulty app might cause Runtime Broker to use up to a gigabyte of RAM or more.
•If your RAM use is high and your PC is running slowly, an app may be the cause of the problem. Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open Task Manager and then, on the Processes tab, check to see how much memory Runtime Broker is using. If it’s using more than 15% of your memory, you probably have an issue with an app on your PC. To stop Runtime Broker from using so much memory, select Runtime Broker in the list, select End task to close Runtime Broker, and then restart your computer."

1. They address high memory usage, and don't even talk about CPU time. And of course it's not their fault, it's an apps fault. There should be a "trap" for that app! *Tongue
2. As I've said before (in many different ways) why deploy an OS with such a horrible bug. This issue has been reported since windows 8! Microsoft deployed windows10 claiming to fix much of previous OS issues.
3. If their answer is to disable it, or as in this instruction restart it, why is it needed in the first place.
4. Restarting the pc every 10-15 minutes is absurd, which is what I'd have to do to keep up with Runtime broker's hunger.
5. If one has to disable key attributes of windows 10, like Cortana, Live tiles, notifications, and more, to keep the system running, what's the point of having it in the first place? Those are the things people are upgrading for.

For me this OS has gotten way more hype than it deserves. When I first loaded Ubuntu as a dual boot system, (not there now, just so there is no misunderstanding) I had absolutely no issues running it. I'm not saying it was perfect but then again the Ubuntu community is not Microsoft!

 

Is runtime broker necessary?

I have spent large parts of the last few days researching and trying to "fix" runtime broker related issues. It finally occurred to me to ask this group, "is runtime broker necessary or important?"
