Windows 10: Rurak R2 Bluetooth Issue

I want to play music from my laptop on a Ruark R2 via bluetooth, as this can receive high res files.


My R2 will not connect via Bluetooth to a Windows 10 laptop. The R2 is not showing in the Bluetooth in device manager. I can see it under digital media.

The laptop recognises R2 as an "other device" not as "audio" but where other bluetooth devices show as (not) connected or paired, there is no information for the R2, just a space.


Turning off firewall and anti-virus makes no difference.


It would be great if anyone can help with what is probably a simple fix, possibly needing a new or different device driver, although all seem to be up to date?

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

Bluetooth Headphone Connection Issues

Hi,

I would suggest to perform some basic troubleshooting steps by following the article to find out the reason and to update the Bluetooth driver.

Check the Status of the Bluetooth in Device Manager and update it:

• Search Device Manager using Cortana.
• Right click Bluetooth drivers and select the Update driver software.

Check also if the Bluetooth service on your laptop is enabled by following this steps:

• Press Windows key + R and type service.msc
• Search for Bluetooth Support Service.
• Right click on the Service and click on Enable.
