Windows 10: safe menu

Discus and support safe menu in Windows 10 Support to solve the problem; someone told me to get in safe menu on windows 10 to go to start 10 click in search msconfig then click boot menu and restat pc and it would be in safe... Discussion in 'Windows 10 Support' started by jerrypc1, Dec 15, 2015.

    someone told me to get in safe menu on windows 10 to go to start 10 click in search msconfig then click boot menu and restat pc and it would be in safe mode ...iT WORKED I am now in safe mode and can't get out of safe mode I have tried everything I know even shut down unplugged and then plugged in and restarted still in safe, tried msconfig again cant get it I would appreaciate any help Thanks. Thats on my 32 bit I am sending from my 64 bit

    If you can get into Windows:

    Press the Shift Key while you click Restart to get into the Windows Recovery Environment

    If you cannot get into Windows:

    Start your PC, just as Windows attempts to load, press and hold Power Button to perform a hard shut down

    Do this twice

    On the third start Windows will boot into the Recovery Environment and from there you can access System Repair, Safe Mode, Command Prompt . . . etc.

    Once you have entered the Windows Recovery Environment:

    Go to Troubleshoot - Advanced Option - Startup Settings and click Restart

    Upon restart, press 4 to enter Safe Mode

    Thanks I was finally able to get into run type msconfig go to boot menu and now every thing is back to normal. Thanks anyway

    I believe it was I the one who posted that info.
    You apparently have missed the other part I added afterwards.
    In order to get out of the save mode, repeat the same steps but this time UN-check the " Safe boot " box > Ok > now restart.
