  1. safest resource to use to Clean up Windows completely

My Edge Browser and File Explore are messed up and need to be cleaned: startup, unnecessary/unused /junk files/folders, and to et up this PC like new? I am tired of trying to find and fix problems that occur after each Windows/MS update and unwanted apps/extension being added without consulting me. Restore does not nothing but leave the pc in the same condition, as far as I can tell. Also, how safe is REVO Uninstaller and other third party Windows Cleaner? Using Windows tools is totally worthless, they don't seem to clear anything.

    :)

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond safest resource to use to Clean up Windows completely :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
