My Saitek Cyborg Keygoard still not working

• How did you purchase the beta driver software?

Let's try simple methods and check if this helps in resolving the issue. Follow the below method.

Method 1.

I would suggest you to run hardware troubleshooter to diagnose the exact issue it will automatically detect the problem and fix it.

• 
  Press Windows + X keys on the keyboard and select Control Panel.
  
• 
  Type Troubleshooting in the search bar on the Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on Small icon on the left navigation pane.
  
• 
  Click on Troubleshooting and click on
  Hardware and Device.
  
• 
  Click on Advanced on the Hardware troubleshooter dialog box and click on Run as administrator (Enter the credentials if required).
  
• 
  Click on Next and follow onscreen instruction complete the Hardware troubleshooter.
  

If the issue still persist try the below step.

My Saitek Cyborg Keygoard still not working

I have download the beta drivers for my Saitek Cyborg Keyboard but the drivers for the keyboard didn't work buy my beta drivers for the softwear did, I need help!

 

My Saitek Cyborg Keygoard still not working

I had the same problem but after a lot of headaches I am typing on my Saitek Cyborg v7 keyboard right now!

1) Download Windows 8/8.1 "Cyborg Keyboard" driver and it's software too from Drivers and Sofware for Saitek Pro Flight Sim Products | Saitek.com

Choose either 32 or 64-bit depending on which version of windows you're running. No windows 10 driver exists as of yet for this product, so use this one. Don't use the more recent Mad Catz v7 drivers either. It will not install properly later on as you
will get an error saying the '.inf ' was written for windows 95 or something similar.

2) Navigate with your mouse to Device Manager and have a good look.

How do I get to it?

Control Panel> Hardware & Sound > Devices and Printers. Right click inside the window pane and select 'Device Manager'.

Alternatively, if you have the 'Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media' icon on the bottom right hand side of the taskbar, a quick way to get to here is to right click on it and select 'Open Devices and Printers'.

3) If any of the entries has a yellow exclamation point on under 'Universal Serial Bus Controllers', beginning at the
top of the list with 'Generic USB Hub', work through them one-by-one until it disappears doing this:

right click. Select 'Update Driver Software...'. Select 'Browse my computer for driver software'. Select 'Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer'. Select the entry that is there and click OK. If this hasn't worked repeat for each Generic
USB Hub until it goes away.

If once we've gone through all of these steps your keyboard ever stops working again in the future you will have to repeat this step. I have to do this approximately every 3 boots for some reason but it may be an unrelated problem to yours, a chipset
driver problem, or it could even be a massive Windows 10 problem (which I think is the most likely). I do not know for sure.

4) Drop down 'Human Interface Devices' and 'Keyboards'. Take a good look. If you have anything under these headings that says Mad Catz or Saitek on it, uninstall the driver for each. We need a fresh start.

For each entry you need to change, right click on it. Select 'properties'. Left click the driver tab. Left click on uninstall.

5) For any unrecognised device entries in Device Manager we need them to be recognised for the Saitek driver to be installed.

Right click on the entry you need to be recognised. Select 'Update Driver Software...'. Select 'Browse my computer for driver software'.
DO NOT let Windows find the latest driver for this device. If you have accidentally done this, repeat step 4. Next, select 'Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer'. You can now
select the basic windows driver.

6) Now run the Saitek driver you downloaded earlier, followed by the software.

7) Go back and look in Device Manager. There should be 4 Saitek entries under 'Human Interface Devices' and 1 under 'Keyboards'. If it is still the generic windows driver from earlier for any of these 5 entries:

right click. Select 'Update Driver Software...'. Select 'Browse my computer for driver software'. Click 'Browse'. Navigate to: C:\Windows\Temp\Saitek\Saitek_Cyborg_Keyboard_SD6_64_Drivers\00000011\0728 and click OK.

It should be working now, hopefully

If it's not, repeating Step 3 is all I've got.
