    I plan on getting a Samsung 860 evo 250 gbs on Thursday.
    My current stats are i5 3.3 ghz 500gb hdd only 85 used in 6 years, windows 10 upgrade from 7.
    My question is what improvement does this normally make.
    I think the programs will start faster but how fast.
    Will page loading on internet be faster.
    Computer currently boots to usuable state in 45 seconds.
    Shuts downs in 15 seconds.
    There are currently no problems on this computer.

    new samsung 860 ssd magician software 5.21 disables ahci

    took back the 860 to best buy and got another 850 evo works just fine. Also went to Samsung support and their message boards . Found others who had same ahci deactivated problems due to lack of upgrading their controller drivers for the 860 to work properly.Thanks
    for your suggestions but let Samsung fix this Richie

    Replaced Samsung ssd 850 with 860 why does new magician software disable ahci even when bios is enabled. Dell precision 3610 win 10 Pro

    does windows 10 recognize samsung 860 evo

    I've been reading that a number of people are having trouble with windows 10 working with a Samsung 860 EVO 500 GB SSD. I've tried looking on the Samsung website for the driver for this drive and they have all other models except the 860 EVO. Do they work
