Windows 10: SAMSUNG Electronics Co., Ltd.

i have windows update available SAMSUNG Electronics Co., Ltd. - USB - 5/15/2017 12:00:00 AM - 2.12.5.0 but my laptop is not samsung should i download it?

I got the program to install by doing the following. Not all steps might be necessary:

• Remove digital signature from setup.exe ( FileUnsigner - Remove digital certificates from files | Fluxbytes )
• Disable UAC and SmartScreen
• Unblocked all of the .exe files in the extracted folder (right-click > properties > check Unblock)
• Set compatibility of setup.exe to Windows 7.
• Ran installer.
• Removed digital signature and changed compatibility of C:\Program Files (x86)\Samsung\Easy Settings\ControlCenter.exe to Windows 7.
• Ran Control Center.
