    Samsung HMD Odyssey+ WMR headset no longer displaying visuals. Blinking green light...


    I've been having a pretty agreeable time with my headset up until this point, save for some bugs and bumps it was thus far a great entry into VR, yet after a week vacation out of state, I returned and attempted to power it up for a session, to find that it wouldn't display anything in the headset. I've confirmed that this is the only thing to my knowledge not loading, as the Mixed Reality Portal very clearly shows the preliminary adjustment place, with the headset even properly tracking its position, yet nothing in way of the headset actually displaying it to me.As far as troubleshooting, I'

    Haven't found any solutions to this yet. I set up my samsung odyssey headset in the wmr portal, and was brought to the testing segment where you usually put on the headset. (Area where you point the controllers at the crystal). I could tell by what was
    being shown on my monitor that it was picking up movement from the headset, but when I put it on I wasn't seeing anything. The led is a solid green, and the controllers are being tracked just fine. Why wont my headset display what's on my monitor?

    Odyssey firmware update has bricked my HMD

    After seeing the post that the 1.0.8 firmware update was available for the Samsung Odyssey, I opened up the Samsung HMD Odyssey Setup app and gave it a go. The update must have failed, leaving my HMD
    blinking either red or green and red.

    Reboot PC, HMD - doesn't help.

    Call to Samsung Service - they said that they do only Hardware. All Software problem you need ask Microsoft.
