    Samsung Magician detects AHCI mode deactivated in my SSD boot drive


    AHCI mode is actually activated in the UEFI, and I also tried changing some numbers via regedit, but that didn't seem to help.I read online that magician has a bug and sometimes doesn't read AHCI correctly, and also that you can detect if it works correctly via device manager but that kinda puzzled me. Any other methods to forcefully activate AHCI? Windows version is 21H1 OS Build 19043.1052 Thanks in advance!

    HP Compaq 6910p AHCI deactivated Samsung PM830 drive SLOW

    Fresh install of W10 1909 x64 on an HP 6910p with 8GB RAM and Samsung PM830 SSD

    SATA/AHCI chipset is "Intel 82801HEM/HBM SATA AHCI Controller (Mobile ICH8M-E/M)"

    Drive is really slow, Samsung Magician reports AHCI is deactivated.

    BIOS setting SATA Native mode is "Enabled" which should enable AHCI.

    Replaced Samsung ssd 850 with 860 why does new magician software disable ahci even when bios is enabled. Dell precision 3610 win 10 Pro

    How to Enable AHCI for SSD in Windows 10.

    I've installed a Samsung 850 Pro 512 gig SSD. The Samsung Magician is telling me " AHCI is disabled for one or more connected SSDs. System must boot in AHCI mode for best performance". How do I enable AHCI in Windows 10 Pro? Thanks in advance.
