    Samsung Magician Does this Look Normal?


    Hello All

    Have a brand new Samsung 860 Evo 250gb for Desktop PC, hopefully all is normal, didn't turn on Over Provisioning yet, wasn't sure if i should or not, so left that alone for now, PC used almost 12-16 hours a day, then i sleep some, and wake up in the morning, PC just idles at night while i'm sleeping (is that good to do with SSD Drive?)

    Just wanna make sure all is well, and then i won't worry on a thing after this lol i hope

    M2 drives don't need it with those speeds. Magician is really only needed for Three things:
    1. If someone wants to tweak their system, instead of letting Windows take care of it(bad idea many SSD beginners do).
    2. Run RAPID Mode.
    3. Update the firmware.

    Do the M2's have any software at all for updating the firmware, or do you have to go to Samsung's site and download it yourself?

    Intel RST not running after installing Samsung Magician

    Hi,

    I am using a Samsung SSD 840 Pro 512gb on my laptop with latest Windows 10 updates. I installed Samsung Magician. I just realize that Intel RST is not running. Is that normal? Is it because only 1 SSD software could be used? So should I uninstall Magician
    or Intel RST or leave them? Thanks for your help.
