Windows 10: Save Windows Photos Album As Folder (SOLVED)

Ok so I have been looking everywhere for some questions to actually answer this but they are all locked. So I thought I would start a Discussion and Answer it all in one.


LIke me many people have wondered how to save their Windows Photos Album they created in the "Photos" app on their PC.


QUESTION:

How do I Save Windows Photos Album As Folder?


ANSWER:

There is no simple file directory for the Album as it saves it to an SQL datbase.... HOWEVER you can copy the photos from the album into a new folder.


1) Firstly Create a new folder where you want to save your photos to. It can be anywhere for instance in your Pictures folder.

2) Go to "Photos app" and open your Album.

3) Below the slideshow you will see your photos. Hover over one and select the small box in top right corner.

4) Just above to the right of "Sort By" it will say "Select All ###". Click this. (# represents number of photos in album mine said "Select all 100"

5) Go to top right of "Photos app" window you will see in the grey bar with these words = Share - Print - COPY - Remove from album - Cancel........ Click COPY.

6) Go to your folder your created at the start where you want your photos and Right Click and Select Paste OR press ctrl+v together.

7) DONE - your photos should be in a folder for you to do what ever you want now.

Save Photo Album as Folder?

I just went through my photos in the Photos App and created an album so that I could upload those photos to a photo printing site. However, I can't save the album as a folder so I can't access them as a group to upload. Even copy and paste doesn't work.
Is there any way save an album as a folder or do I need to spend a few more hours re-doing this and copying each photo (from multiple folders over the years) to a new folder?

 

Is it possible to save the Album data from the photo Viewer?

Why am I unable to Save a photo to an Album I created?

Hi. No changes. Computer is only a month old.

Yes, trying to save photos to a folder I created. It constantly fails and just goes to December 2017.

Just tried to save it to a different photo--Nada. Just goes under December 2017.
