Windows 10: Saved tiff file, file date is not date/time when file was saved

    Saved tiff file, file date is not date/time when file was saved


    When I save a tiff the file save date displaying in explorer is incorrect. File saved 8-23-2024 12:58 AM reflects in file properties explorer shows 4-27-24 at 6:23PM. The date is correct in the tiff file's properties. Anyone know what's going on here? This is a tiff from a Photoshop document, haven't tried tiffs with other programs. Psd files save with correct dates as does MS Office products. Tried to upload a jpeg and tiff of screenshot of explorer and file's property window but both fail to upload!

    Saves log files ?

    You can either read the files in Windows or my preferred method is.....

    Download CCcleaner from here...........

    http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

    You can then run cleaner, you will see the log files listed, then if you right click you can save as a text file and then have a read. You may also get an "error reporting" log listed seperatly.

    Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise - Date Modified is displaying date and time the file was opened instead of when the file was last saved

    Hi,

    I have recently noticed an issue with the Date Modified data. I am using Excel and Word 365 in Windows 10.

    Steps Taken:

    1. Launch Excel 365.

    2. Click on OPEN.

    3. Review the list of files displayed under Recent.

    Expected Results:

    The file I was working on at the end of the day is displayed at the top of the list with a last modified date and time of at 23/03/2023 17:46 (this is when the file was last saved).

    Actual Results:

    The file has a last modified date of 23/03/2023 15:58.

    When I open the file the date modified updates to the current date and time even though the file has not been saved i.e. the date and time the file was ACCESSED.

    Account: displays Version 2302 (Build 16130.20306)

    About Excel: displays Version 2302 (Build 16.0.16130.20298) 64 bit.

    This has nothing to do with the Regional Settings.

    I have cleared the Windows Explorer privacy cache.

    Outlook 365 Am seeking a way to save attachments, with sender name and date-time stamp 'received' added to the file names. Any suggestions?
