Windows 10: Saving crash logs without a page file

    Saving crash logs without a page file


    I am working on a system that has page file disabled for security reasons. I absolutely cannot post any details from the machine, again, for security reasons, so I have to find the cause of the crashes myself. What I need to know is if there is a way to save crash logs or memory dumps or anything of the sort that would help diagnose the issue on my end, without a page file. Is it possible?

    Saves log files ?

    You can either read the files in Windows or my preferred method is.....

    Download CCcleaner from here...........

    CCleaner Professional | Try the world’s most trusted PC cleaner, free!

    You can then run cleaner, you will see the log files listed, then if you right click you can save as a text file and then have a read. You may also get an "error reporting" log listed seperatly.

    Page File

    Set minimum and maximum to a constant number as suggested by others, that will help reduce fragmentation on the drive coz of different page file sizing.

    have you tried opening the log file, scrolling all the way down and looking at the numbers?
