  1. scale and layout grey out for monitor with resolution 1920*720

Hi all, I have a small monitor with resolution 1920 * 720, I want to scale everything up from 100% to 125% but this option is grey out in settings.

I also have another monitor which is 3440*1440 and the layout scale button work perfectly, I have attached two screen shot below to show the difference of the two monitors in the settings scale and layout grey out for monitor with resolution 1920*720 77d24e95-c716-49f4-9a95-7ce077af843c?upload=true.png .

I will really appreciate any idea to scale up the small monitor.

  2. Resolution & DPI scaling on 32inch monitor

    Samsung LC32F397FWNXZA 32"
    resolution 1920 x 1080

    graphics card:

    GeForce GTX 1050 (2GB)

    Maximum Digital Resolution 7680x4320@60Hz2

Would this suggest that it is the monitor that is the limiting factor?

I'd like to just make the apps smaller but unable to scale below 100% or adjust the DPI below the default.

scale and layout grey out for monitor with resolution 1920*720

    Full HD (1920 x 1080) 24'' Monitor Default Scaling In Windows10?

    Hi Markos

Yes, the best scale factor on a 24" monitor with a resolution of 1920 X 1080 is 100%, otherwise everything on the screen would be rendered too big . . .

Generally you would only use a higher scale factor on high resolution screens . .
