    Scam?


    I received an email saying a MS Surface Pro in the amount of $3,499.99 was being shipped. If I had not ordered the item, I was to call a number they provided. I called the people on the other line, said someone had opened a line of credit from Fast Cash in my name for $8,000. The computer was in my name, but being shipped to New York. They said it was a network problem with Microsoft and needed access to my computer to fix it. Scam? Can someone open a line of credit with fast cash in your name with just a SS# and birthdate? Assuming they had all that.. Thanks
