I have NO IDEA what you are talking about so I am just going to carry on with mah life. I don't want to do zen dodgy stuff and how would I compare it to someone else's when they wouldn't allow me to have access to their PC. So the question remains.

    Hi,

Was this virus....errrr........ISO file downloaded from a reputable source such as MS Tech Bench?
Is your system by itself clean?

If yes to the above than simply have a virus scanner scan that ISO file and be done with it.

If not downloaded from a reliable source, delete the file and download from the above.

    Cheers, *Wink

Sorry for my last comment with all that weird text, got a bit bored at night. So, I've downloaded it from the Windows Media Creation Tool, I'm good I guess? Just to be safe, will extracting the ISO then scanning the content and files of it work (Remember, just to be safe so please give me an answer).

I would make sure your system is free of any virus before anything else.
If you downloaded it from Microsoft Media creation tool. or techBench, there is little concern. As long as it is from an official Microsoft site, there will be no viruses in the ISO. The only thing you really need to be concerned about is any virus already on your computer.
Just to be safe you can scan the ISO with whatever AV program you prefer.

If you downloaded it from anywhere else, I would delete the ISO and download it from one of the 2 places I linked to above.

Unfortunately, no AV program is able to scan a ISO! I was infected when I downloaded the ISO but now I have cleaned the infection. To scan the ISO, do I have to extract the contents and files into a folder then scan that folder with Avast and MBAM?

I don't know the answer for that, but I'm pretty sure ESET will, from the link I gave previously. You can create the DVD or USB, whichever one you intend to use, and scan that.

Also, you can use the info in post 14 (Scanning a ISO File and Bootable Anti-Virus) by @NavyLCDR and it will tell you. The purpose of the MD5 and SHA1 is to tell if something has been added. His link will test the ISO.

You know MOST USB scanners don't work! I had MCShield (recommended by avast) and it deleted my USB's bootmgr. It was another installation media.
