Windows 10: Scannow

I am trying to run a scan now procedure. I have entered CMD in the search bar to get me to the Command prompt however after I type in sfc /scannow I get a message that I need to be the administrator to which I am so I see no reason to why I am getting that message.


So I try typing first with quotations and then with out the following Run As Administrator and I then get a message that is not a valid request.

Cannot vertically scroll after upgrading to Windows 10

I suggest that you run the SFC scan and check. Follow the steps:

• Press Windows + X
• Click Command Prompt (Admin)
• Type sfc /scannow
• Press Enter

steps below:

• Press the Windows + R keys to open run command box.
• In the run command box, type services.msc, and press
  Enter.
• In the list of services, double click the Windows Modules Installer service.
• Set the startup type to Auto, and click OK.
• Restart your computer.
• After the restart, you'll be able to run the sfc /scannow command without any problems.

After above steps, I rebooted my laptop and did sfc /scannow. It is OK now.
