Windows 10: ScardSvr - can't use smart card reader since few days on some pc

Hi,I'm a vendor of smartcard reader software and we have issue with some customers not all :Computers are on Windows 11 24H2 - 26100 2454.Files for smartcard are on same version on each computer working and brokenscardsvr.dll 10.0.26100.2454 scarddlg.dll 6.2.26100.863 smclib.sys 10.0.26100.1150 scardbi.dll 10.0.26100.1882Registry are the same on each computers for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SCardSvrIssue occured from about 10 days, before all was totally OKAny software that use "Scardsvr" have the issueI tryed to desactivate "kernel isolation" but nothin

Office smart card reader not prompting for PIN

Hi,

I use a smart card reader along with a smart card provided by my employer. It had been working fine but all of a sudden it stopped working a few days back. Now when I try to login, I do not receive a prompt to input the PIN. Thus the page with the VM launcher
does not open up. I have reinstalled all the drivers. Still the system does not prompt for PIN. The card reader and card is working on other systems. Kindly suggest some solution.

 

WIndows 10 Compatible Smart Card Reader

I've been using an SCR3500 USB smart card reader for military websites for years with Windows 7. I've since found that this particular reader has been deprecated and will not work with my new Windows 10 machine.

Is there anyone out there using a smart card reader with Windows 10? If so, what make and model reader are you using? And yes, I've been to militarycac.com before someone suggests it. The site is offers a lot of suggestions but none of which are fixing
my problem. Any assistance would greatly appreciated.
