Windows 10: Schedule restart found reset to Automatic (recommended). How? When?

Discus and support Schedule restart found reset to Automatic (recommended). How? When? in Windows 10 Updates and Activation to solve the problem; I set Windows update to notify me to schedule a restart. To my horror, I found it had been reset to Automatic (recommended).     Schedule restart found reset to Automatic (recommended). How? When?


    I set Windows update to notify me to schedule a restart.

    To my horror, I found it had been reset to Automatic (recommended).

    I didn't do that... so that's not good. Has anyone experienced this?

    Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3093266) won't install

    Update KB3093266 failed to download, and after stopping and starting service, found that it failed to install.

    Under Windows Updates, is Advanced Options, Choose how updates are installed. Switched from Automatic (Recommend) to Notify to schedule restart. Then back to Windows Update page, click on Check for updates.

    Then restarted when was given option.

    Alter Windows 10 to stop scheduling reboots! Data loss = lawsuit material.

    Start - Settings - Update and Security - Advanced options

    Change Automatic (recommended) to Notify to schedule restart.
