Windows 10: Scheduled Tasks in sleep mode

I often have my computer in sleep mode during the day and usually off at night while I'm sleeping. I've noticed that during the day when I'm out and have left the computer in sleep mode, it has done a Windows update. I'm wondering if the computer can also complete scheduled tasks such as defragmenting? I never get to defragment because the computer is off at night and I don't want to schedule it for the day when I am using the computer. If I thought it would defragment, or do other scheduled chores, I would leave it in sleep mode rather than turning it off at night

Task Scheduler Error


When I access Task Scheduler, an error appears that says SqmUpload_S-1-5-21......... no longer exists. To see the current tasks, click Refresh. However, the same message appears when I click Refresh. I can close the message and it appears the Task Scheduler is OK. A person on the Microsoft boards gave me several steps to follow beginning with booting into Safe Mode. However, I received a message when I accessed Task Scheduler that it doesn't function in Safe Mode.
I did not feel safe following their additional suggestions at that point as I am not that adept at such endeavors. Has anyone else encountered this error and/or found a simple solution? I feel it is caused by some remnant leftover from Windows 7 during the upgrade but this is pure conjecture on my behalf.

Steps:-

• Type Task Scheduler on Search bar.
• Click on Task Scheduler Library.
• Select the particular task and right click on it.
• Select End.

Windows 10 Falls Asleep Despite "Never" Sleep Settings

Regarding your concern, it is most likely to be caused by a scheduled task. We suggest that you check your
Task Scheduler for unwanted scheduled tasks. Kindly do the following steps below before 10PM:

• Type task scheduler on the search bar.
• Click on Task Scheduler.
• Under Actions, click on Display All Running Tasks.
• Once All Running Tasks pops up, kindly check for a scheduled sleep that is set to trigger every 10PM.
• Select the scheduled sleep, then press End Task.

Once you're done with the steps above, kindly check if your computer will still go to sleep at 10PM.
