    Screen dim and can't adjust


    I screwed up..... My laptop locked up and I ran my hand across all the keys and my screen went dim. I can't get it bright again. I must have hit a combination of keys that caused the problem. I have tried suggestions people have posted but nothing seems to work, any ideas?

    Please add timeout for illuminated hardware keys on Lumia 920

    I use my phone at night in bed and the constant bright illumination of the capacitive touch buttons is unbearable! They should dim as the screen dims. The buttons should be able to adjust their brightness as the display does, this s a really important
    function and is a dal breaker if I can't find a fix soon. Please help.

    Dimming screen on 6280

    How do I stop/adjust the time that the screen dims, seams to dim very quickly even whilst reading text messages etc.

    If yes, try press the Fn key and HOLD > press the "To brighten" key .

    If you do NOT have those 2 keys mentioned above, use this method:

    Bottom right in the system tray, click the Battery icon > at the popup, click the brightness box to increase the %.....................

    If none of the above helps, do a system restore.
    Pick a date BEFORE you messed around with the keyboard as your restore point.
