Windows 10: Screen flashes black when alt+tab

HelloSo before installing the new update for windows 11 24H2 my screens never flashed nor had delay when changing from screen 1 to 2, or when alt+tab, or leaving a fullscreen game and going to for example Google Chrome on my other screen.But after installing that update, both my screens flash black for 1-5 seconds and even my mouse gets stuck sometimes.I've read a ton of other guides and stuff, but nothing is working.I know for sure it is the update, since the last thing I did on my PC was install the update and then I had the problem the day after.RegardsRonnie

CTRL ALT DEL Black Screen

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

• Have you installed all pending updates?
• Are you able to log into Desktop?
• Is the issue specific to Ctrl + Alt + Del screen?

Black screen error can occur if the computer is not up to date with all Drivers and Windows updates. Install all pending updates and check if that helps.

Black Screen after Log on

So this is not a BSOD ? Have a Windows 10 disc or USB Flash Drive made ? How are you getting to task manager Ctrl.+Alt+Del ? Any cursor on screen ?

 

alt tabbing increases system performance?

Skyrim doesnt work correctly you alt tab, but if you alt tab to it again while the screen is black, it loads up with the windows cursor over the top. If i repeatedly do this, eventually it fullscreens properly without issues. Slightly weird.
