Windows 10: Screen flickering and freezing

Hi, so basically my main monitor Asus TUF VG249Q has been having this problem where every 10 seconds or so it freezes my screen and some coloured bars appear above for a few seconds and then goes back to normal. I have a dual monitor system, however, my second monitor does not flicker whatsoever Samsung SyncMaster BX2450 I've tried troubleshooting the problem and this is what I've found: - My main monitor works completely fine with an HDMI cable and does not flicker at all.- I used my display port from my main monitor with my sister's computer and her monitor does not flicker.- I used my s

I haven't made any changes on my device. This screen flickering is only happening in Safe Mode.

I understand your query. I suggest you to follow the steps to get out of safe mode.

• 
  Press Windows key + R
  
• 
  Type msconfig
  
• 
  In msconfig > Boot tab >
  Boot Options > uncheck Safe Boot > APPLY / OK.
