Screen goes black, computer shuts off, then restarts. Does not seem associated with any particular program. Random occurrence. There are no signs or other symptoms. Just black, off, and restarts. The restart doesn't bring up the start screen, it just stays black. I have to shut it off manually and restart it.

Random shut down and restart??

Ever since I replaced the fan (with heat sink) the computer has randomly shut down and then restarted, at first during streaming, and now, will shut down and restart anytime. I tried to replace the graphics card to no avail. *Confused *Mad

One suggestion was to replace the RAM.

Any suggestions on how to repair my computer?
