Windows 10: screen goes black periodically

A black screen washes across my monitor periodically, lingers a few moments, then goes away. Happens frequently during Zoom meetings but at many other times also. It affects my experience. Other people watching me on Zoom do not see it. May be related to inactivity? Moving the mouse will make it go away or it sometimes goes away by itself. It's very tedious. Sometimes happens every few minutes, at other times only after ten minutes or more. Please instruct!
