Windows 10: Screen Goes Dim (Microsoft acpi-compliant control method battery)

I have just upgraded to Windows 10 from 8.1, never had this issue until now.


I basically want to have screen lighting set to the same, whether power cable is plugged in or not. I did everything as per online guides, but still, as soon as I unplug power cable, a screen goes dim.


I've spent whole day on this trying to figure, including chats with Microsoft support.


What one agent helped to discover was that when we go to Device Manage->Battery and unistall "Microsoft acpi-compliant control method battery" I would have my screen at desired lighting with power cable plugged in or out. So I thought, I'll live with that.


But now is another issue - as soon as I log off from my laptop and log back in again, Microsoft acpi-compliant control method battery is active again! And same issue all over again...


HOW do I solve this issue? Where is a problem coming from?


Ideally, of course, I just would want to have everything what I need to have in my laptop function properly. But if we cant manage, is there a way to just remove microsoft acpi-compliant control method battery completely without coming back automatically?


I did all HP driver tests, updates, etc. No faults found.


So frustrating over a little thing like this...

Missing microsoft acpi-compliant battery control method

Hello! I am missing the driver Microsoft ACPI-compliant battery control method. This makes my computer shut down when I remove the charging cable or shows Battery charge level to be "0%". Help?...

 

Microsoft ACPI Compliant Method Battery

Accidentally , I uninstalled "microsoft acpi compliant control method battery" from Acer Aspire R-14. Now I'm unable to install it because I don't have its setup.

So please help me !!
