Windows 10: Screen is darker and more yellow when I open games

This has been happening for some time now, when I open a game my screen will go yellow and dimmer, and after some time it will go black and reset and it will be the correct brightness.


I've updated my graphics card, all my other drivers too.


My cables are all connected.


I've checked my settings, cannot figure it out either. Windows is always updated to the latest version and that can't be the issue as it's been happening for a very long time now.


I have FreeSync enabled monitor, with GSync enabled in settings.


No Night light enabled either.

Black Screen when opening games

I suggest you to update the Graphic card driver by following the steps provided below and check.

• Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapters.
• Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.
• Follow the on-screen prompts to update the driver.

If the issue still persists, then suggest you to check with the game developers if they have released any updates for the game and install the same and check.

Laptop with broken screen How much?

I would like suggestions and look in local stores. I dont wanna buy a laptop from someone online. Sorry. But could be a good idea if you asked him about the performance on older games. Gonna make a list ofall laptops people suggest me.

Remove the screen for space purpose here its small desk and if the screen is opened it will hide my 22 inches lcd

 

Opening Notepad turns the screen yellow

When I use Notepad, the screen has a yellow tint to it. When I close Notepad, it goes away. This only happens when I open Notepad, no other programs are affected by this yellow tint. It's really annoying as I use Notepad alot.

I tried to take a screenshot but the screenshot is normal with no yellow tint. What could be causing this?

**UPDATE**

So I found by turning off the XBOOST App in the MSI App manager fixes the problem. Not only does the XBOOST App cause the yellow tint, using the Gaming App in the MSI App manager does as well.
