Windows 10: Screen not working

Hi, After trying to remove linux from my laptop and sticking to windows my screen no longer works and isn't even registered as a display in display settings. It's completely black but the HDMI output works so I am able to use it when I have access to an external monitor. Is there anyway I can fix this as I really like my laptop and don't want to have to spend money on either a repair or a new device?

Also quick note that the touch screen on it still works.

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Thank you john for all of your help i decided to get the usb my computer came with and factory reset it i didnt have anything that personal or valueable so its ok thanks for the help though i appreciate it
