Windows 10: Screen randomly pixelating

For the past few days my laptop running Windows 10 keeps pixelating randomly and flashing white squares on a black screen as in the picture ive attached. Ive tried updating and uninstalling the graphics drivers, updating windows entirely and ive also reduced the frequency the screen refreshes. The problem still persists. How can i stop it from doing this?

Windows 10 Aniversary - Pixelated Screen

Hi,

I realize that after the Anniversary update you are getting randomly weird pixelated screens. I will try to help you with this issue.

As the issue is occurring after waking up the PC from sleep mode, let us try these steps to check if that helps.

You may run the Power troubleshooter and restart the computer to check if this helps.

• 
  Press “Windows key + X” and click on “Control Panel”.
  
• 
  Click on “Troubleshooting”.
  
• 
  Click on “View all” and select “Power”.
  

Follow the on-screen directions to run this troubleshooter completely. Once this is done, restart the computer and check the status.

Further you may also follow these steps to reset all default power plans to default settings:

• 
  Open a command prompt.
  
• 
  In the command prompt, type “powercfg –restoredefaultschemes” and press Enter.
  
• 
  Close the command prompt.
  

Remember to restart the computer to check if that helps.

Computer randomly has black screen and restarts

Taco this could be software also. Before you get all crazy, do as Erocker suggested. Find out the error in the Event Viewer. Look for the faulting module and the error code itself. Also check the reliability monitor. At the bottom it will have "View all Error Reports". Post a screen of whats in there if anything.

This could be a simple as a bad driver install.

ALSO have you downloaded or installed anything lately? STAY OUT OF THE DAMN BIOS UNTIL WE KNOW THE ERROR! lol. I know you. Baby steps boy, baby steps.
