Windows 10: Screen saver is not playing my pictures

My step father have pictures in his pictures folder of his Windows 10 PC.


When I go in screen saver, I select picture as my choice for screen saver:






If I click on Settings, I can choose what folder of pictures I wish to display:






I have nothing in the Saved pictures and over 10 000 pictures in the pictures file. When I click preview, it plays with no problem. I've set the screen saver to turn on after a minute. After more than 2 minutes, I still dosent play the pictures. I use to press the windows button plus the letter L to lock the screen and the screen saver would automatically start playing the pictures. The screen saver is not plying or turning on at this point. I've restarted the computer, made sure the computer is updated. I've unplugged and plug back the computer. I tried everything. Believe me, this is the last thing I want to do to fix this issue. Please, let me know before I toss this computer through my window.

Shuffle Screen Saver pictures

Have you checked the Shuffle option in Screen saver settings? If you haven't, please follow these steps:

• Press Windows key, type Change screen saver
  and hit Enter.
• Click on Settings, next to Photos.
• Put a check mark next to shuffle pictures and click on
  Save.
• Click Apply and OK to save the settings.

A screen saver is a moving picture or pattern that displays on the screen(s) of your PC after you have not been active on the PC for specified period of time to wait. You can follow the steps below to change the screensaver on your Windows 10 laptop:

• Press Windows key.
• Click on Settings > Personalization > Lock
  screen > Screen saver settings.
• You can choose the Screen saver that you want in the Screen Saver Settings
  window.

I would suggest you to review he settings and check. Here is the steps:

To change Screen Saver:

• Press Windows/Start key.
• Type Screen Saver and click on Change Screen Saver.
• Select the screensaver from the drop down menu and click on Apply.
• Click on OK.

To put the computer in sleep:

• Press Windows/Start key.
• Type Power and click on Power Options.
• Select Change when the computer sleeps in the left panel.
