Windows 10: Screen Saver Selection

Problem - I have over 75 different screen savers installed on my laptop, but when attempting to "personalize" my appearance within the setting, I can only see the the screensavers alphabetically listed up to the letter "T"...any screensaver with a title beginning with most of the letter "T" and higher are not available to be selected for use.


Anyone know of a solution, please?

Let us know what happens exactly when you try to set the screen-saver or put the computer to sleep.

I would suggest you to review he settings and check. Here is the steps:

To change Screen Saver:

• Press Windows/Start key.
• Type Screen Saver and click on Change Screen Saver.
• Select the screensaver from the drop down menu and click on Apply.
• Click on OK.

To put the computer in sleep:

• Press Windows/Start key.
• Type Power and click on Power Options.
• Select Change when the computer sleeps in the left panel.

• Have you tried changing the screen saver settings?
• Are you trying to off the the screen saver?

Meanwhile, you can follow these steps to turn off your screen saver:

• Open Settings and Select Personalization.
• Click Lock screen, scroll down and choose Screen saver settings.
• Choose None in the drop-down menu.
• Select Apply.
• Click OK.

If you are not getting any errors, here are the following steps on how to change your screen saver depending on what Windows operating system you’re currently running.



A. Windows 7 and older

• Click the Start button.
• Select Control Panel.
• Choose Appearance and Personalization.
• Click Personalization.
• Select Screen Saver.
• Click Preview if you want to see what your screen saver would look like.
• Then click OK.

B. Windows 8 and 8.1

• Right-Click your Desktop.
• Choose Personalize on the drop-down menu.
• Select Screen Saver.
• Click the arrow pointing downward to select the preferred screen saver.
• Click Preview to see what your screen saver would look like.
• Close preview, then click OK.
