Windows 10: Screen Shot Resolution

I have an Acer Asprire R5 laptop with a 1920x1080 screen resolution. When I take a screenshot with just the laptop screen, everything shows up fine. However, I usually use it with a second monitor, also 1920x1080 screen resolution. When I take a screenshot while using both screens, Windows seems to compress the screenshot to a much smaller resolution, and everything comes out blurry. Is there any way to get the dual monitor screenshot to take both screens at full resolution, such as 3840x1080 or whatever? As of now, if I want to screenshot something at full resolution when using my double monitor setup, I have to unplug the monitor, take the screenshot, plug it back in, and move the windows I want on the second screen back to where they were.

Screen Resolution too big

Firstly, try to install all the available Windows Updates and check if it fixes the issue.

I suggest you to change the screen resolution settings and check if it fixes the issue. Follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key and type Change Screen Resolution and click on the option listed.
• Under resolution try changing the resolution settings.

Also try to install the latest drivers from the manufacturer website and check.

If you want to take a screen shot and save it as picture, I suggest you to check with the below steps.

To take a screen shot and save it as a picture

  Click the window you want to capture. Press Alt+Print Screen by holding down the Alt key and then pressing the Print Screen key. The Print Screen key is near the upper-right corner of your keyboard. (Depending on the type of keyboard you have, the exact
  key names on your keyboard may vary slightly.)
  

Note: You can take a screen shot of your entire desktop rather than just a single window by pressing the Print Screen key without holding down the Alt key.

  Click Start, click Accessories, and then click
  Paint.
  
• 
  In the Paint window, click Edit, and then click
  Paste.

  When the image appears in the Paint window, click File, and then click
  Save As.

  In the Save As dialog box, in the File name box, type a name for the screen shot, and then click

I suggest you to update the Display Adapter Drivers

Step 1: Update the Display Adapter driver.

• Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapter.
• Right on the Display Adapter and click on
  Update driver software.

Step 2: Please follow the below steps to change the resolution of the screen and check:

• Type Change screen resolution in the
  Search box from the desktop.
• Under Resolution search for the Recommended resolution and click on
  Apply.
• A windows pops up saying "Keep these display settings", then select
  Keep changes.
