Windows 10: Screen Split and Program Resizing not Working

Hi there,


I'm having trouble getting my screen to split correctly and my programs either maximize, or minimize, but doesn't size to the smaller than maximum. See below for demonstrations:


Screen Split issue:


If I try to split to the left:





This is my result: Full screen, instead of split screen to left.






Program smaller than maximum but not minimized:




Now trying to drag the program just a little bit lower so I may see the background program's header, it jumps to full screen. Thus not allowing me to move mid-sized programs around the screen.





So in the last week I've installed programs and uninstalled them again, so I might have by accident removed the screen split software. However, I can still see the settings for this:





Could you please advise me what I can do to fix my sizing and splitting issue?

Alternative to LG Split Screen program

Does anyone know an good alternative program to LG's Split Screen they made for their 29EA93-P 21:9 inch monitor.

It's simply just need to split a screen in half horizontal so u get a desktop on the left and right side of the 4K monitor.

Split screen

When I go to a split screen view in Windows 10, one of the screens will stop working and/or not respond. For example, if I have a video playing and split screens, the video will stop running but the sound will continue. Another example is that I will
try to use a newly opened screen in split view and the page will not respond. Any suggestions or help?
