Windows 10: screen suddenly freezes often

Hi,I'm having a very annoying issue right now. My laptop screen keeps freezing without particular reason, I don't see any issue with my GPU and ram. It will blink first then freezes afterward. I don't have any antivirus as well. Please help, thanks.

Andre, thanks for your suggestions. I performed all steps as you listed and it appears that there were

some problems that have been corrected. I will let you know in a day or so if the "freeze" problem

occurs again. Many thanks for your help --- this took longer than I expected!
