Windows 10: Screensaver keeps turning itself off.

    Screensaver keeps turning itself off.


    I don't like having to turn off my monitor. My screensaver is turning off for some reason. Can I get some help?

    Nokia 6120 Classic - screensaver turns itself off

    Does anyone know whether the Nokia 6120 Classic has any setting to enable the screensaver to stay on and not turn itself off after a couple of minutes?

    Screensaver turns itself back on.

    I have a Lenovo Thinkpad P70. I like to have my screensaver turned off when my power chord is plugged in. However when I reboot the computer, or unplug and replug in the power chord, the screensaver turns itself back on to the Ribbons (5 minutes) setting.
    I'm getting annoyed having to turn it off every time I reboot my computer. Thanks.

    I would suggest you to try the following steps and check if that helps.

    • Go to the folder C:\Windows\System32 and sort by file type.
    • Look for the screensaver file type (.scr).
    • Find the file scrnsave.scr(you can choose any of the screensavers).
    • Right click and select send to>desktop (create shortcut). The shortcut on my attachment, but when i click on it my screen goes off and on and nothing else.Screensaver keeps turning itself off. :)
