If you have Windows 10 Pro Version 1511 Build 10586, You must first have 1607
Anniversary Update installed to use this standalone update!!!

(I confirm this is x86 Cumulative Update for
Windows 10 Version 1607 (KB3176934)). If you had 1607 installed it might work. Download ISO file for 1607 and upgrade or do a clean install.

Supposedly as I understood this, this ISO is the 1511 to 1607 update (per title problem). I updated my Windows 7 PRO to 10 PRO for the anniversary (thus my assumption, I have the Win 10 anniversary edition. My system only says Build 10586, which I discovered
on MS site is Version 1511, and not indicating Home or PRO.

So, I upgraded for the anniversary from 7 PRO to 10 PRO, and cannot update further? All I know is I have issues related to conversion. This is what appears to be the case.... I'm stuck in 1511. So I do not understand why I have
to have 1607 to use accumulated to 1607. The title of this thread clearly states, "Windows10 ver 1511 to 1607" which is what I need, and was suggested as solution. Yet, (Not for this computer), so you're
saying the solution is incorrect?

I am however using Anniversary Windows 10 PRO... could this be the issue?

If so, do you have any idea how I'm going to do updates as they are released for Win 10 PRO Build 10586 (which purportedly is ver.1511), or not?
