Is it possible to change the default image format for taking screenshots by pressing [ PrtScrn ] button?

    Here's where I am boggled:

In the game "Star Citizen" you can press [ PrtScrn ] button and a screenshot is saved to C:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizen\LIVE\screenshots

Now I know that this cannot be changed within the game.

However My friend's screenshots are all in .PNG lossless format, While mine are are JPEG

He does not know why, he says all his screenshots are just always .png no matter how or where they are taken from.

Same for mine, only mine are all .JPG files.

Where or how can this be changed?

    Thanks for any input.

    :)

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    Here's a quick laundry list:

List of software to use for overclocking and testing
    Examples:
Wattman (and how to find and use it, like an overview, including profiles)
Unigine Valley or Heaven (use this for quick testing while changing settings in Wattman and checking for stability / artifacts) ...just suggesting this
How to monitor cores / mem speeds and temps during testing (I've seen screen overlays, and others using GPUz)

    Step-by step overclocking in Wattman
    Fan speeds

    Lock vs Login screen screenshot

    Hi Josey -

Thanks for the quick reply. While your suggestion does change the sign in process, it doesn't address the differing screenshot question. Following the steps doesn't make the login screenshot the same as the Lock screenshot. As I mentioned, I can't even find the screenshots being used for both screens.

Still looking a solution to this. Open to any other suggestions you might have to the problem. Thanks!
