Windows 10: Sculpt Comfort Mouse disabling bluetooth radios

I have two new (2018-19) pcs running windows 10 which have both have bluetooth connectivity and have used it recently. However after pairing the Microsoft sculpt comfort bluetooth mouse to these computers the mouse would run for a while and then drop off. I thought it was the mouse because I could reconnect the mouse and had to do so frequently, but after the last mouse replacement the mouse dropped off and could not reconnect. Instead I got an error saying "bluetooth offline" in device manager and in services the bluetooth radios are not even showing up. Its like the card is missing. Previously they were there. I changed the network card and the motherboard. Still no radios... Any idea or knowledge of a known problem with this? Is a virus a possibility (not showing up in tests...)?

Update: Contacted Microsoft Answer Desk and they told me the support for this mouse is "END OF LIFE". That's a load of bull as the "Sculpt Comfort mouse" is still listed for sale on the Microsoft site: Buy Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse - Microsoft Store

So they offered me a choice of 4 cheaper alternatives (only 2 of the 4 were bluetooth mice).

My mouse is only 4 months old and Microsoft still sells this very mouse. I really believe I should receive the exact same mouse.

 

MS Sculpt Comfort Bluetooth Mouse buffers in Windows 10 Surface Pro3

The Microsoft Comfort Mouse being used with a Surface Pro3, Windows 10 Pro intermittently freezes. The mouse will be unresponsive for a few seconds to 30 seconds. Any mouse actions during the freeze with be executed when the mouse becomes responsive
again. I have checked for updates for Windows 10 Pro, the Microsoft Sculpt comfort Mouse, and the Marvell AVASTAR Bluetooth Radio. I have also turned off the power save option on the radio. The mouse have been removed, and the paired again. Any suggestions
on what to try next would be appreciated.

I understand the inconvenience you are facing in accessing Sculpt Comfort Mouse on Windows 10.

This issue might have occurred due to corrupted/ outdated drivers, try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to uninstall the mouse drivers.

• Right click on Windows key,
  select Device Manager.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Mice and other pointing devices.
• Right click on each of the drivers and click on
  Uninstall.

Step 2: Manually install the mouse drivers from the link below.
