    hello! I bought a gaming laptop few days ago and it came with a game called sea of thieves when I received the box I was surprised because the code was clear from the outside, anyways I went to the new laptop and went to the microsoft store to redeem the code and it said "Contact who you got this code from. We can't redeem it."

    Issues with getting sea of theives

    So my friends got sea of thieves, and they told me an easy way to do it is by getting xbox ultimate, So i got a gift card, and i got the ultimate pass. However, I can't get sea of thieves for free. It just still tells me to get an xbox ultimate subscription.
    I've tried to restart my computer and other stuff, but I don't know what to do.

    Sea of Thieves is currently not available in your account. Here’s the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001

    I am trying to play on a windows 10 computer, and it only get the error for sea of theives. i tried reinstalling the game, reinstalling store, and reinstalling xbox app.
