Windows 10: Sea of thieves 15 fps on pc

So I just reinstalled the game sea of thieves after not playing for awhile but I finally decided I was gonna reinstall to try out the most recent update that added a lot of cool stuff, and when loading in I noticed the loading screen looked a bit weird and felt sluggish, I get into a game and find out my games stuck at 15 fps, changed all my graphics settings to the lowest possible, still 15 fps, checked to see if my fps was capped in game and it says my frame rate is unlimited, I tried capping it at 60 fps and nothing still 15 fps. I need a fix because if not then I wont be able to play, the game is unplayable at 15fps and its annoying me because I didn't have this issue when I originally played sea of thieves and I would get easily 100+ fps.

Today I downloaded sea of thieves on my windows 10. I opened sea of thieves and it suddenly closed the game after a split second, I tried multiple times but got nothing, any suggestions?

I can understand the situation must be difficult for you when the Microsoft Store app doesn't work as it should.

I cannot download Sea of Thieves on PC from microsoft store.

Hi Christopher,

Sorry for the delayed response. We identified this issue regards downloading Sea of Thieves from Windows Store App and we still working on it to fix the problem. As a workaround, we suggest following the steps below:

• Cancel all existing download on the Store app.
• Start the download of Sea of Thieves once again.
• As soon as the download starts, immediately restart the computer.
  
• After the reboot, do not launch the Store app instead wait for the passive download which you can check in the Action Center. Then it will automatically install by itself and then open the game without any issues.
