Windows 10: Sea of Thieves error code 0x803F8001

So my friend and I want to play Sea of Thieves and a friend of his got Sea of Thieves through "game sharing". My friend gave me his password and email so I can install Sea of Thieves on my computer and I did. It normally stop working a day or two later. I was wondering why I get error code 0x803F8001 when I launch sea of thieves?


This was exactly what it said: "Sea of Thieves is currently not available in your account. Here’s the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001"

I am playing sea of thieves on PC with Xbox game pass. After installing the update today i can no longer launch the game. Im getting the following message:

Problem with the new Sea of Thieves Update

Hi guys, after the new update of Sea of Thieves i received this: Sea of Thieves al momento non è disponibile nel tuo account. Il codice di errore, se necessario, è: 0x803F8001.

Is not avaible on my account code error 0x803F8001.

Also my friends had the same problems.. Any solutions? THX!

i have the game from the windows store with xbox game pass. I just downloaded it, but upon launching the game, i get this error: "Sea of Thieves is currently not available in your account. Here’s the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001"

By the way, the game worked in the past without issues and my friend recently installed it today and had no issues. Tried searching google and seems like some other people also have the same issue.

Please help.
