    Seagate Dashboard for GoFlex on Win 10


    This used to work until the latest update to Win 10 in August 2018.

    I re-installed as Admin, then tried to change Compatibility Win XP 3.

    It doesn't work anymore with Compatibility Win 7 or 8.

    Running as Admin doesn't work either.

    It just stops when it tries to locate the device (Detecting devices...) on the network.

    Memeo works fine so it is seeing the device.

    GoFlex Home:UPNP-AV is found okay in the Windows Explorer application.


    Any help would be appreciated.

    GoFlex Dashboard

    I have a Seagate GoFlex external wireless hard drive. Dashboard will not work with Windows10. I tried reloading the software using my disk, and uploading the software from Seagate, and it still does not work. My computer recognizes the hard drive,
    but I can't use any of the wireless features.

    Are there any solutions. I looked on the Seagate site, but did not find anything.

    The Windows 10 Creator was just installed on my laptop tonight and suddenly I would get a message that the Seagate Dashboard couldn't connect to the service... after reading your solution, I uninstalled the Seagate Dashboard, following your first link,
    and redownloaded the "GoFlex Software" (Dashboard and Memeo software for GoFlex Drives - updated for Windows 8.) which ended up being the bundled zip file you're mentioning. I reinstalled the program
    and it started working again. Thanks.

    Seagate Dashboard for GoFlex on Win 10

    missing backup files on Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex after Windows 10 upgrade

    I have a few backups on a small GoFlex external drive that are not being recognized since upgrading my laptop system to Windows 10. I can see them when I open up the drive but the 'Seagate Dashboard' does not include them in the restorable file listing.
    I know they are still on the drive but cannot access them for restore. Any suggestions, the forums have been no help.
