    Seagate GoFlex not recognized by Windows 10 Latest update


    I have an older Seagate GoFlex drive which used to be recognized but no longer. with the latest Windows 10 Update Checked the forums and learned about SMBv1 used by Seagate and no longer supported . Ran optionalfeatures and followed instructions to enable SMB 1 - NO LUCK.

    missing backup files on Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex after Windows 10 upgrade

    I have a few backups on a small GoFlex external drive that are not being recognized since upgrading my laptop system to Windows 10. I can see them when I open up the drive but the 'Seagate Dashboard' does not include them in the restorable file listing.
    I know they are still on the drive but cannot access them for restore. Any suggestions, the forums have been no help.

    Seagate GoFlex on Windows 10

    I have a Seagate GoFlex network drive that is connected to my router by a cable. It has a USB port to share a printer. On Windows 7 and formerly Windows 8 I could share it no problem. However, on Windows 10, I cannot find the printer plugged into the Seagate
    device.

    Has anyone figured out if the USB port is usable with Windows 10?

    The Windows 10 Creator was just installed on my laptop tonight and suddenly I would get a message that the Seagate Dashboard couldn't connect to the service... after reading your solution, I uninstalled the Seagate Dashboard, following your first link,
    and redownloaded the "GoFlex Software" (Dashboard and Memeo software for GoFlex Drives - updated for Windows 8.) which ended up being the bundled zip file you're mentioning. I reinstalled the program
    and it started working again. Thanks.
