Windows 10: Search bar, mail, clock, calendar and other apps crash immediately after I click on them

HiI recently reinstalled Windows 10 on my Surface Pro 4 for personal reasons outside of this issue, but ever since re-installing I've had an issue that keeps coming back each time no matter what I do. I've re-done the Windows installation several times, but this seems to only fix the issue temporarily, and I can't find any other solution that works.Everything will be running fine for the first few days of the install, and then I don't know whether it's an update, or something else that I'm doing afterwards, but I seem to encounter some issue where the search bar on the start menu and in folder

Windows 10 Mail & Calendar Apps Unable to open

If that's the case, we suggest resetting Mail & Calendar app by following the steps below:

• On the search bar, type Settings and press Enter.
• Select Apps.
• Locate and click Mail and Calendar, select Reset.

After resetting the apps, we recommend resetting cache of Windows Store:

• Press Windows key + R.
• Type WSReset.exe and press Enter.

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Mail and Calendar app won't launch


ok this works. There must have been an update as the install file has changed from under 179 mb to 180 mb:


1.Open the Start menu, type Windows PowerShell in the search bar.


2.Right click on the Windows PowerShell and select Run as administrator.


3.Enter the below command to reinstall the Mail and calendar app.


get-appxpackage *microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps* | remove-appxpackage


After performing the above steps, install the Mail and calendar app form the Windows store.
