Windows 10: Search function down-graded after window update on 10.02.2020

I usually copy & paste thing into the search box on my PC to find something, but after update this morning, I can only type in thing to start my search.

To turn off windows updates in windows 7 follow these steps:

Click the start button, in the search box type in 'windows updates', click on 'windows update'
in the search results list, in the left side of the windows update window click 'change settings'
then in the option bar select 'Never check for updates'.

 

Windows 10 Update

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.
