Windows 10: Searching for a Windows shortcut, or add-on, to Minimize a window in 1 keyboard shortcut.

Does anyone know of a windows shortcut that will minimize the current window with a single keyboard shortcut? Windows Key + Down will take a maximized window, take it to a smaller size, THEN minimize it. I was wondering if there was a single key combination to go from Maximized to minimized in one key combo.

Windows 10 commands/shortcuts/env. var.

Keyboard shortcuts to open programs:

Create a shortcut on the desktop to whatever program you want. Right click -> Properties and fill in the field there. Sadly the shortcut needs to remain on the desktop, but you can hide it.

Fun fact: If you had keyboard shortcuts for programs pinned to your Windows 7 start menu, those shortcuts still work when you update to Windows 10.

 

Windows Media Player - Skip Track Shortcut?

My keyboard only has play and stop hotkeys, using Windows Media Player is there a way to make a keyboard shortcut to skip track, even if media player isn't the primary window?

WindowsLogo + M is still listed as "minimize all windows"

It still works that way in Windows 10 for me.
